What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Our website allows visitors to use contact forms to enquire about our services. These contact forms simply send us an email with the details of your enquiry, no personal information is stored on our server. When a visitor sends us an email via our contact form, their name and email address, along with their enquiry will be sent securely to our email address. Personal data sent via our contact forms will be used only to respond to enquiries.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
When someone visits our website we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
When you place an order
When you place an order with Unibu, we will collect data such as your name, email address, telephone number, billing address and delivery address. These details are used only to process your order, and to create an account where you can view your orders, and place future orders.
Unibu do not collect, or even see your credit or debit card details. These are sent to our card processor via a fully secure encrypted connection.
Who we share your data with
If you make a purchase with Unibu, your name, email address, phone number and billing address will be shared with our credit card processor PayPal or Stripe.
If you join our mailing list, your name and email address will be shared with SendInBlue, our newsletter partner.
We do not share, sell, rent or give your personal details to any other 3rd party.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
